FAQs

How much does a wrap cost?

The final cost of the wrap will depend on the size of your boat.

How much does it cost?

The final cost of the wrap will depend on a few factors, largely the size of your boat and whether you opt for one of our designs or one of the designs by Fish Wreck (these typically attract a slightly higher cost).

Please contact us with the type of boat and measurements for an accurate quote.

Are DIY Wraps available?

Yes. If you wish to purchase a supply only wrap and install it yourself, this is possible.

Reach out to our team to discuss available designs and pricing.

How long does it take to wrap?

The design process timeframe varies depending on whether you are selecting one of our pre-designed wraps or creating a new design entirely.

However, once the design is approved and printed, the installation only takes one day. You drop the boat off to us and pick it up later the same day.

How long does a wrap last?

Generally a wrap may last for up to 7 years, or potentially longer, however it does depend on many factors, including:

  • The climate
  • The surface of the boat
  • The time spent out in the sun and storage location
  • How the wrap is cared for

Like many things, ultimately the care of the wrap will determine it’s actual lifespan.

How do I prepare my boat for wrapping?

To ensure the best finish and long lasting wrap, it is important to properly prepare the surface of the boat.

Your boats hull should be sound without flaking paint. Any high or low spots within the hull will likely show up under the vinyl.

Prior to the agreed installation date, we ask that you undertake the following.

  • Remove any existing stickers and decals
  • Wash the boat thoroughly using soapy water

As set out further below, sanding may be required to create a smooth hull.

Will the wrap damage my boat?

No, wrapping the boat will not damage its surface. Rather, it may protect the underlying paint.

If the boat contains scuffed surfaces, sanding may be required to create the smoothest surface possible. This will be discussed with you prior to installation.

Can the wrap be removed in future?

Yes, wraps can be easily removed without damage to the boat if you decide you want a change in future.

How do I care for the wrap?

Proper care of your wrap is important to ensure its longevity.

Please take a look at our cleaning and maintenance guide for further information on cleaning and maintenance.
